{weekly intention}

According to Andrea from ABC Creativity :

'Hello Monday Morning! A fresh week. A fresh start. Everything is wide open. Everything is possible.

Before you jump right into your week, take a few minutes to choose where you want to focus your energy this week, to think about what direction you want to be moving in.

Setting a weekly intention is taking some time to pave the way for success, joy and dreams come true to find you throughout the week.

This is not about setting goals or creating to-do lists and working your tail off to achieve them. This is about taking some time to be quiet and still and ask “What do I need this week?” and setting an intention from there to align yourself with that.

Then the real work is to remember your intention and align with it throughout the week.'

My intention for this week is to be as creative and professional as I can be at all my photoshoots. This is the first time ever that I have 5 photoshoots in one week and I want to be able to do as good at the 5th one as I do at the first. I need to not be overwhelmed by all the photo editing afterwards. Take my time and pace myself.

My intention for this week is to enjoy every minute as much as I possibly can. To get out of the house and get doing things with people. To not isolate so much.

My intention this week is to start the school year off for the kids with a nice clean house and a solid daily routine. Something we can follow throughout the year and make the busy times a little easier. I want to develop a good routine, a pattern for our days that brings some normalcy to them.

My intention for this week is to take in every minute and enjoy the simple things, the simple moments of having my kids with me as they are going back to school in a few weeks. I want to breathe in and enjoy every second with them. I want to always remember how much fun they have on our little trip this week.

My intention this week is to make sure I follow through with going to therapy and class. The easy thing is not going. Instead I need to do what's right and go so that I can learn more and grow more in my understanding of what tools and techniques will help me to overcome my anxiety.

My intention for this week is to follow through with therapy and class. I need the information and skills I am learning and I need to keep myself open to learning what they have to offer. The skills are helping I just need to stop running away from them.

My intention this week is to do something everyday that brings me closer to developing my photography business more. I need to edit more photos for the Facebook page, set up some practice shoots and advertise to get some new sessions booked. I also need to get out taking new photos - the more practice the better.

My intention for this upcoming week is to be there as much as possible as I can for mom and dad. This is going to be a hard week for everyone and I need to prepare myself to be available. I need to focus on the fact that I am needed and get through it no matter the panic or anxiety. I need to perform.

I have been having a lot of really sad days these past few weeks. So, my intention for this week is to acknowledge when I am feeling sad and then consciously choose to do something to improve my mood.

Feel free to join me in this blog challenge found at ABCcreativity.

"Every Monday, I share my intention for the week and welcome you to do the same.
This is not about setting goals or creating to-do lists and working our tails off to achieve them. This is about taking some time to be quiet and still and ask “What do I need this week?” and setting an intention from there to align ourselves with that. It’s about paving the way for success, joy and dreams come true to find us throughout the week."

My intention for this week is to not give into bad habits, to stop and catch myself instead of just doing what I am used to. I wish to challenge my thinking and allow myself opportunities to grow by doing something different.

{weekly intention}

I've decided to follow along with this weekly challenge found at ABC Creativity. I like the idea of setting intentions, setting goals. This will help me develop and challenging myself throughout the week as I have chosen for One Word 2011. It will give me somewhere to document what it is I wish to accomplish and how I plan my focus for the week. If I write it down I am so much more likely to follow through.

"Every Monday, I share my intention for the week and welcome you to do the same.

My intention for this week is to do one thing out of the house each day this week not including taking the kids to and from school. I have been hiding in the house way to much lately, afraid to leave my comfort zone. If I challenge myself to go out everyday I really feel that I will become more comfortable with walking out that door. That's the hard part. Those first few steps of leaving the house and walking out the door. Once I am out I can usually make myself focus on what I am doing and each time I go out I feel that desire to run right back home starts to go away.

So there it is ... I will leave the house each day.
