{weekly intention}

Visit ABCcreativity to find out more about weekly intentions and see the wonderful meditation about setting intentions.

According to Andrea 'Setting an intention is taking time to pave the way to success, joy and dreams come true to find you throughout the week. This is not about setting goals or creating to-do lists and working your tail off to achieve them. This is about taking some time to be quiet and still and ask 'What do I need this week?' and setting an intention from there to align yourself with that.'

My intention this week is to allow my self to experience grief as it comes, but to also allow myself to experience joy as it comes. I plan to be mindful of what I am feeling and mindful of what is going on around me.

Alter Bridge - In Loving Memory (With Lyrics)

Friday Fill-Ins

You can play along with the Friday Fill-Ins Meme on their blog.

And...here we go!

1. One of my favorite birthday presents was a trip to the spa.

2. She missed him terribly, it was as simple as that.

3. The moon was full and had a circle of red around it.

4. This weekend includes family and memories.

5. I was tempted by the kids Easter chocolate.

6. Taking tons of photos and seeing new sights are some of the things I like to do on vacation.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to cleaning up and relaxing with the girls, tomorrow my plans include my father's internment and luncheon and Sunday, I want to scrapbook and cross stitch!"

Thursday Thirteen : 13 Reasons I Am Excited About Moving

I am moving July 1st and am so excited. The past 8 months I have been living at a friend's house and have almost all things I own packed and in storage and have been sleeping on the couch.

Here's 13 Reasons I Am Excited About Moving.

1. I get a bedroom - which means a real bed to sleep in

2. I finally get a room to myself to go to when I need to relax

3. I get to unpack my rooster collection - I know they are just roosters but I have missed them all the same

4. My bedroom is in the loft which means I can turn half of it into a creating space - I can't wait to unpack all my craft supplies - I can finally start art journaling and tole painting again

5. The kids each get their own bedroom - no sharing and getting on each other's nerves

6. There are two flights of stairs - maybe I can tone up a bit

7. It's right beside the kids school, they can go there to play anytime they want

8. I have some new furniture (well new to me) and I can't wait to see how it all fits

9. It's not as big as where I have been staying so I should be able to keep it clean (**should**)

10. It's got a bigger kitchen than my last apartment so I'll hopefully start enjoying cooking again

11. It's right across the street from the mall and grocery store which means i have more reason to walk

12. It's withing walking distance for the girls to visit their dad

13. I finally get to put up all my photos and tole painting - I have missed looking at these familiar pieces.

Friday Fill-Ins

And...here we go!

1. I remember when I first heard that Dad didn't have much longer with us - it was the most helpless I have ever felt in my life.

2. The Lord showering down love from the heavens.

3. Most humans feel an imense ammount of love inside them.

4. ??? drawing a blank on this one ...sound familiar?

5. I was inspired by Jessica Spragues Now We're Rockin' With Photoshop class.

6. No one who knows where!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward going to the Relay For Life in Lombardy with mom and the girls, tomorrow my plans include having a yard sale if it doesn't rain and Sunday, I want to just stay home and relax and scrapbook and cross-stitch!"

Now We're Rockin' With Photoshop : Lesson 2 : Mini Album Snapshots

The Assignment 2 Mini Album from the Now We're Rockin' With Photoshop Class is this Snapshots album. I think it is a fantastic idea for an album - a fantastic way to record monthly the everyday pieces of our lives. I plan on doing a page for each of us 3 girls at the end of the month. It will be awesome to look back at the end of a year and see how much we have changes in both our photos and in the everyday things that make up our lives.
