52 Scrapbooking Challenges #3

I am doing the challenges from Elisie Flannigan's book 52 Scrapbooking Challenges. Challenge #3 was to customize a ribbon border. I have trouble using ribbons on my digital pages so off to the gallery at 2 peas I went for inspiration and I came across this layout here and totally fell in love with it. Just had to scraplift it so here's my take:

I used a kit by Pepete found here as soon as I saw this kit I knew I wanted to use it for this specific photo.
Yesterday I was bored and so I started looking through all my scrapbooking books. I spent a long time looking through 52 Scrapbooking Challenges by Elsie Flannigan. Here's my take on challenge #1 I chose to scraplift her layout.
