One of my new favorite things is my new boyfriend Gord. He is a long distance truck driver. I absolutely love going in the truck with him. He has so much passion and dedication for his job. He is an amazing man.

What is the essential core of friendship for you?

The absolute core to friendship for me is trust. If there is no trust in friendship than there really isn't anything. If you build a strong foundation in a friendship, one that is based on trust and honesty then you can build a friendship that is very solid.

What's the biggest step you've taken this year?

I think the biggest step I've taken this year is moving on with my life after Rob walked out on us. I had thought we would be together forever and it was a shock when he walked out. It hurt and of coarse I was upset but I carried on. I was still the kind of mom that my girls needed. I still did what needed to be done in my life. After a few months now I am adjusting to life without Rob - I am working at making my life and the lives of my girls better each and every day. I still miss Rob terribly but I know that our lives here will be great without him. Moving forwards and getting on with my life is the best thing I could do at this point.

You know, the thing I enjoy doing the most for a friend is listening. I know it is so much appreciated when I truly, sincerely listen. When I listen with not just my head, but with my heart to. When I listen this way my friends know how much I care and how much it means to me that they are sharing with me. This is something I truly desire in friends so it is something I do in return.

Thoughts for today...

As I am sitting here this morning I have so much going through my head. Today is a snow day and right now the girls are cuddling with each other on the couch. It is the most heartwarming sight to see. The two of them acting like best friends and sisters all cuddles, hugs and kisses with each other. Right now in my life I am feeling like the luckiest woman in the world. I have the most amazing little girls and I am so honored to be able to live my life watching them grow. I have the love of an incredible man who love those girls like he loves his own children. We have a warm, safe house, plenty of food, clothes and between the four of us all the love in the world. I AM SO LUCKY!

One of my new favorite things is watching the relationships develop between Rob & the girls. It is so amazing watching him fall in love with the girls and watching them fall in love with Rob. They are all getting so close and it is amazing to watch!!

I AM THE LUCKIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD!!!

I am the luckiest girl in the world!! I picked up my boyfriend in the city yesterday. When he got in the car he handed me a bag from people's Jeweler's and told me he had found it and that I should open it. He was laughing at the look on my face. Inside with this amazingly beautiful bracelet. He picked three charms for it./ One that says I love you, on that is a heart, and one with a cross that says blessed. He says he saw it and thought I would love it. I can't believe how thoughtful he is and how much I am loving him.
