The theme we chose for this week's assignment was self portraits. let me say this: I HATE self portraits. i am never happy with the results but I tried. Kyla has been doing self portraits everyday this montha and hers are fabulous!

I really enjoy doing this project with Kyla. It helps me to get out there practicing and taking pictures that I maybe normally wouldn't.

I know my shot is not a "typical" circle shot, but as soon as I saw this swing go around and around and around, I just couldn't get the image of it doing circles out of my head. I couldn't get excited about any other type of shot after that lol.

I really enjoy doing this project with Kyla. It helps me to get out there practicing and taking pictures that I maybe normally wouldn't.

We both took photographs representing the theme and now we are showing those photos in a diptych. I had fun with this week's theme. Food is not something I photograph often - plus, I got a trip to Red Lobster Out of it. My photo is on the left and Kyla's on the right.

Team-Up Thursday : Color

You can find the Team-Up Thursday Flickr pool here I am so very lucky to have paired up with the lovely and talented Kyla from The Kreative Life . The theme we chose for this week was color. We both took photographs representing the theme and now we are showing those photos in a diptych. It was neat to see that we both were thinking along the same lines in choosing the subjects for our photos. I think this is going to prove to be a fantastic challenge - one that will get me out taking more pictures and thinking outside the box from my usual photo subjects. Kyla's photo is the top one of the crayons and mine the bottom of the pastels.
