My friend Jill tagged me on her blog. It was a fun one.
The tag how-to...
1. Go to the photos folder on your computer.
2. Go to the seventh folder of photos.
3. Go to the seventh photo.
4. Put the seventh photo on your blog along with a description.
5. Invite seven friends to join.
So, here's the photo I came up with.
Last year at this time we didn't have a vehicle. As Spring was a welcoming thing for us, we waited outside every morning and enjoyed the weather as we waited for my mom to come pick us up and take the girls to their bus stop. We had so much fun those mornings. I always sat on the porch with a cup of coffee as the girls played their little hearts out. Those mornings were spent skipping, running, jumping and learning to ride their bikes with no training wheels. Those morning hold some of my very precious memories.
And, I'd like to tag:
1. Sarah - 2 Paws Designs
2. Bonnie Rose - A Life Unrehearsed 2
3. Lee - Lemons2Lemonade
4. Melina - Living Creating & Appreciating
5. Heather - It's just me, Heather
6. Emily - Just Me
7. Noeila - Everyday Telling of a story

Finally made some pages!
I haven't felt much like scrapping since I lost all my digital scrapbook supplies when my computer got it's virus. I've slowly been downloading (and trying to organize!) some new files but have honestly been un-motivated doing so. I have so wanted to scrap but have hesitated to do so due to a small number of choices to use on my page. I like variety. I like mixing and matching elements, I like being able to search for that certain color. I guess even just typing this is making me want to go organize and download so that I can have those choices. Anyways ... enough rambling. Here are the pages I made today:
The first is for my Favorite Movie Quotes Album: (couldn't have this kind of album without having a Twilight page ... now come on)
The second page I completed is my take on catalyst #54 from the Creative Therapy Blog. This week's prompt was: What’s something you wish you could do? (Something you know how but are too afraid to try.) Loving the color in this one!!!
The third page was for catalyst #11 on the Creative Therapy Blog, the prompt was: What is your first memory.

My Favorite Things Saturday 03/21/09
My Favorite thing this week was taking the kids on a little trip overnight into Ottawa with my mom. It was so much fun seeing the girls and their excitement. Here are my favorite shots that I took as we all had fun.
Waiting {impatiently} for the pool to open.
Amber watching t.v. in the hotel room.
Emily watching t.v. in the hotel room.
Mom & the girls at dinner. We went to Monkey Joe's (a restaurant we used to go
to when I was a little girl.)

Cathching up on Creative Therapy
Spent some time this morning catching up on some challenges from over at the Creative Therapy blog.
Catalyst # 51 : What’s something you do every day just for yourself? (If nothing comes to mind, create the art around what the one thing would be and why you’re not doing it.)
Catalyst #52 : Tell us about something you’ve always wanted to learn.

Friday Fill-Ins #115
1. When I look to the left, I see our bulletin board with school memos and artwork and a calendar.
2. The living room is the room that has the best view in my home.
3. Let it work please.
4. It's been done dirt cheap!
5. Tolerance is a responsibility that all qualified citizens must share.
6. If you have any coffee feel free to send some my way.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting my girls back, tomorrow my plans include spending some quality time with Emily and Sunday, I want to relax and enjoy the girls!

Change the clocks ... change everything else?
When I know Spring is coming and it's finally time to change the clocks again it becomes an interesting time of year for me. You see, I start thinking about having more daylight time, I start seeing the signs of Spring ahead, and I start wanting change. I start looking at all the places in my life that I am unhappy and I start making lists of what I want to change, and how I could change it. I want to start setting new routines. I want fresh air all the time. I want things cleaned, and organized, and smelling good. I want that feeling of new that comes with Spring, that feeling of growth. I have some big goals set for this spring, and a lot of organizing and cleaning to do. But I think I am ready.

One Year Ago
While catching up on my blog reading I came across this post on Emily Falconbridge's blog. She challenged everyone to go check their photo files and see what they were doing one year ago. Here's the picture I found. I absolutely love this one - it was so fun to go back and see what was going on in our lives this time last year.

New Layout & Digital Scrapbooking FREEBIE
I was creating this layout at 3 this morning when I couldn't sleep. I was trying to figure out how to scrapbook this quote I got in my inbox this morning. Once I created the quote I thought hey this might make a neat freebie to put on my blog. So off I went over to 4 shared and opened an account. Uploading the file was easy and I hope I did everything right. So anyway's here's the layout, the freebie and the link to get the freebie at 4 shared.
