A Little Disappointed

The other day I posted on 2 Peas about my daughter deciding to be a vegetarian. You can see the post here . I thought I was posting to get some advice but as I read the responses I am very discouraged and am wishing I had never posted. I never mean for my thread to be a place for bickering and judging. Makes me think twice about ever posting on 2 Peas again. Kinda disappointed.

{{{hugs}}} I don't know what's happening with 2 Peas lately....seems like everyone gets attacked for everything anymore! Sorry it happened to you :(

sigh...i'm so sorry Sometimes people there forget their manners. that's why I keep my posts there to scrap related stuff. Not sure what to say about the veggie thing. If my kids tried that I'd tell them they'd have to eat lots of beans and that would nix the whole idea quickly. I say just make sure she gets the nutrients she needs and keep the lines of communication open

My goodness! That certainly did begin a whole range of answers! Who would've guessed? I think you asked a wonderful question and got some good advice but it was mixed in with lots of bickering back and forth! Wow! Good luck with your daughter. 6 is such a neat age and this sounds like an opportunity to have some great conversations with her about nutrition and values and choices we make....sending some hugs your way also!

I scanned through your post and see what you mean. Ugh. That is very disappointing. It seems like threads often go that direction, and I don't understand why.

I remember my daughter went through a stage like that at around the same age. It didn't last long, although as a teenager, she still eats only a couple of kinds of meat.
